Not only is Engine 1 an unbelievably beautiful truck, it's Scioto Township's history. This is the first fire truck ever purchased in Scioto Township. It is a 1954 Dodge. Many of the parts you see on the truck are orginal to the truck.
You usually see the truck in the Annual Ostrander July 4th Parade Celebration. It is still in very good shape and runs very well. We're proud to have this piece of history around for all to see.
