Jack Graduated from Whetstone High school of Columbus Public Schools.
During his senior he was learning to be a White Water Raft Guide in West Virginia on the weekends. After graduation he moved to West Virginia and secured a job as a full time guide on the New and Gauley Rivers.
After 5 years moved back to Ohio and worked as a field tech Installing and maintaining Automatic Teller Machines. With the experience of the river running he became a volunteer with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Watercraft teaching swift water rescue to fire departments as well as safe boating courses to the general public. Working with fire departments, he developed an interest for Fire and Rescue work and later attended Columbus State Community College and Tri- rivers Fire and Paramedic programs. After completing the Medic and fire programs Jack became a career firefighter / Paramedic. Continuing his fire education Jack attended the Ohio Fire Academy Fire Inspector course which brought him to Scioto Township Fire Department as a part time Fire Safety Inspector.
His hobbies are Whitewater rafting, kayaking, Hiking and he plays bagpipes in Two Pipe and Drum bands.
